About

I am Paul Baraka.

Composer, producer, author and creator.

Music is my first language, but my work moves through sound, words, images, film and interactive experiences. I create from emotion first, using whatever medium allows the idea to become what it needs to become.

Through albums such as Multidimensions, Music for the Imaginary, Le Chemin de Compostelle and Elyxium, I explore faith, conflict, memory, science, reconciliation and the inner landscapes that shape us.

I have created music and sound for more than 300 television episodes and series, including Dreamcatchers, Teepee Time and The Deerskins, and for the animated feature film Sedna, Empress of the Sea. Visual projects such as Lost Civilization have carried that work into new forms.

My book

Don’t Let Anybody Dim Your Light

continues the same movement, through words.

I work with emerging tools, including AI, as part of the creative process. The source remains human. The intention remains intact.

I founded Empire Baraka to bring all of it under one name: music, books, film, games and technology, made for human connection.

I do not create to distract.

I create to reveal.
